Part of the Guttmacher Institute’s “Just the Numbers” series, this analysis estimates the global health impact of Australia’s family planning investment in 2024 — including the unintended pregnancies, unsafe abortions, and maternal deaths averted — and shows where additional investment, particularly across Asia and the Pacific, could most expand access to contraception and reproductive health care.
